Joanne Moudy, RN is a US Army veteran and registered nurse specializing in trauma and OR procedures. After experiencing Stage II heel pressure ulcers firsthand during a cardiac ablation procedure, she learned from her electrophysiologist that ‘every single patient complains of the same thing’ after cardiac procedures.

Combining her clinical expertise with systematic problem-solving skills developed in the military, Joanne invented the JEM Ankle Cradle and Knee Support System® to solve a problem affecting millions of patients annually. Her solution is protected by 2 utility patents and 1 design patent, with FDA Level-1 clearance already achieved.
